Please find a list of what items can and should not be placed in our skips. If you are unsure on a specific item or have some special requirements, please contact us or call +353 1 4299846 and we can advise you further. ASBESTOS : This material is extremely hazardous and must only be disposed of by a specialist contractor. If you have any doubt whether a material is asbestos, you should not handle it but should have it tested first. Testing may be carried out free of charge by some contractors. If our driver suspects that asbestos has been placed in the skip/babyskip it will not be lifted under any circumstances and you will be charged for the call out. If asbestos is subsequently found in a skip/babyskip upon tipping, the full costs of its safe disposal as well as any costs associated with business interruption and materials contamination will be pursued against any company or individual. Asbestos can be found in old roofing, insulating board or panels, old water pipes and rope or pipe lagging.
