The Maxi BabySkip has a weight limit of 1 TONNE.It has been designed specifically to hold large bulky household items. It should NOT be used to dispose of soil, stone & similar heavy materials as it cannot then be lifted..
You should only use our Midi & Mega BabySkip bag for the disposal of soil, clay, rubble, concrete, stones etc.
The following hazardous waste items must not be disposed of in your BabySkip: Most of these items can be disposed off free of charge or for a minimal fee in your local authority waste collection facility
Our aim is to recycle as much waste as possible and materials, even where they may not always pose a health & safety risk, will often contaminate an entire load of materials which cannot then be processed for recycling.
Your bag may not be lifted if it contains any of the above materials or the driver may leave those unacceptable items behind and lift the remaining items if they can remove them safety. If any materials are discovered in the bag on tipping, we reserve the right to charge you for the handling and proper disposal of these items.
ASBESTOS : This material is extremely hazardous and must only be disposed of by a specialist contractor. If you have any doubt whether a material is asbestos, you should not handle it but should have it tested first. If our driver suspects that asbestos has been placed in the skip/babyskip it will not be lifted under any circumstances and you will be charged for the call out. If asbestos is subsequently found in a skip/babyskip upon tipping, the full costs of its safe disposal as well as any costs associated with business interruption and materials contamination will be pursued against any company or individual. Asbestos can be found in old roofing, insulating board or panels, old water pipes and rope or pipe lagging.
